Why choose this accommodation
- A riverside setting on the Betwa, just minutes from Orchha's temples and palaces
- Two accommodation options: classic rooms and garden tents
- A spa offering Ayurvedic massages inspired by Kerala traditions
- A setting ideal for birdwatching in a wooded environment
- A logical stopover between Khajuraho and Rajasthan, accessible from Jhansi station
Atmosphere and setting
The resort unfolds across a tree-lined park that runs alongside the Betwa. The sound of the river, the passage of birds, and views of the chhatris (royal cenotaphs) rising in the distance set the tone: this is rural, heritage Orchha, away from the tourist town bustle. The lotus-shaped pool anchors the heart of the property, with accommodation buildings and shared spaces organised around it.

The property has 32 rooms, most of which overlook the lotus-shaped pool. Added to this are accommodation tents set within the gardens, which offer a favoured vantage point for birdwatchers. This dual offering allows you to alternate between standard hotel comfort and a more immersive night's stay, without leaving the grounds.
