One of the must-do experiences in Thekkady, this is among the most captivating jeep safaris in Gavi. It showcases vibrant terrain surrounded by lush trees and forests where you can observe the natural beauty of the ecosystem and indulge in numerous adventurous activities such as trekking, birdwatching, kayaking, and boating. This biological garden is a paradise surrounded by majestic hills and valleys, tropical forests, sprawling grasslands, sholas, magnificent waterfalls, and cardamom plantations. It is home to many endangered species such as the lion-tailed macaque, Nilgiri tahr, and more.

Our journey begins at 5:30 AM. The jeep will pick you up from your accommodation for a scenic 40 km drive through the jungle. Upon arrival at Gavi (green manor), a relaxing breakfast awaits you. You can begin your excursion from the viewpoint for a guided trek accompanied by qualified guides, concluding the visit at the green manor where lunch is served. Afterwards, you can enjoy kayaking on Gavi Lake. In the evening, you'll have the opportunity to connect with guides and locals over tea and refreshments. Finally, you'll be transported back to your hotel.

Two types of programs are available:

Day Excursion (5:30 AM to 5:00 PM): 36 km jungle drive, 3 km trekking, and 1–2 hours of pedal boating

Overnight Camping at Gavi: 36 km jungle drive, 3 km trekking, 1–2 hours of pedal boating, and accommodation options in tents or bungalows

Time: 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Facilities: Guide, meals, viewpoint, pedal boat, and jeep safari

Cost: Rs 2,500 to 6,500 per person + parking fees
